Art as God's instrument for the evangelization of peoples
Before Guthenberg's printing press made it possible for the Bible to reach the hands of laypeople, primitive drawings, paintings, sculptures, and the luminous stained-glass windows of cathedrals masterfully fulfilled the role of guiding faithful people to the plan of salvation of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Later, Sagrado Ilustrado followed the same path, presenting the lives of the saints of the Catholic Church to children and pre-teens in a fun and inspiring way. I am very grateful to be part of this team of talented illustrators. Besides being an apostolate, it is an enriching experience for our souls.
